She filed legal documents without a lawyer…
TMZ reports that Courteney Cox has filed legal documents responding to David Arquette's recent divorce petition. Just like her ex-husband-to-be, she filed these without a lawyer.
Since there is no mention in Cox's documents of a prenuptial agreement, sources connected with the couple have confirmed that no prenup exists. This means that the money they earned during their 12 ½ year-long marriage is community property and would be divided 50/50. This includes the last five seasons of Friends.
Cox is reportedly worth $75 million. Arquette is worth $18 million.
Courteney is asking for joint physical and legal custody of 8-year-old Coco, and she also wants her name restored to Courteney Cox.
