Deadline reports that Kerry Washington (Scandal) and Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation) will announce the nominees for the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards with Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Chairman-CEO Bruce Rosenblum at 5:40 AM PST on July 19th.
Spike Jones Jr will produce the nomination broadcast, as well as the Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards. The ceremony will take place at the Television Academy's Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in North Hollywood.
The award ceremony will air live on Sunday, September 23 on ABC from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. The show will be produced by Don Mischer and hosted by Jimmy Kimmel. The nominating ballots were posted on the Television Academy's website on June 11. Ballots will be returned to Ernst & Young by June 28th.
