[TV] Andy Samberg Says Natalie Portman's SNL Rap Was Her Idea
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 07.24.2012

Andy Samberg says that Natalie Portman's famous rap on Saturday Night Live as a digital short was all her idea. Samberg told Playboy that when Portman came by to host the show, she told Samberg that she wanted to do it.

"It was all her idea," he said. "She loves filthy rap. She saw Lazy Sunday, and when she came to host SNL, she said, 'I really want to do one of those raps.'"

He added, "We were skeptical because . . . She seems so sweet and innocent. And then she broke into some Lil' Kim song and started rapping verses for us, the filthiest lines I've ever heard. We were completely taken aback."
