That's just a rumor...
E! News reports that Bradley Cooper will not be joining the remake of A Star Is Born with Beyonce, as he says it is "just a rumor".
He was asked about it during the premiere of his film The Words at the ArcLight Hollywood. When asked if he was interested in doing it, he said: "I mean, Clint Eastwood is one of the best directors alive. There are like three versions already."
The first came in 1937, followed by a version starring Judy Garland in 1954. The third featured Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson.
When asked if Streisand's was the best, Cooper replied: "Even better than Judy Garland?"
He also discussed The Words, which features Cooper as a writer who finds a lost draft of a novel and publishes it as his own. Zoe Saldana plays his wife and Jeremy Irons plays the actual writer. The cast also includes Dennis Quaid, Olivia Wilde and Ben Barnes.
Cooper grew up with the film's writers and co-directors, Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal in Philadelphia. He said: "I've known them since I was like 10. Brian used to come and play at my house. My mom was there for most of the time when we were shooting.
