Joan Allen (Face/Off) is set to star in the latest adaptation of a Stephen King story. THR reports that Allen will star in A Good Marriage, which is being directed by Peter Askin. Filming begins next month in New York.
The original story, which appeared in King's anthology Full Dark, No Stars, focused on a woman named Darcy Anderson who discovers her husband has been keeping an especially terrible secret for years. On a perfectly ordinary evening, all the things she believes in and takes for granted are turned upside-down.
