Bill Maher (HBO's Real Time With Bill Maher) will guest star on The Good Wife as himself, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Maher will appear on the show's fourth season, which premieres September 30 on CBS. He isn't the first political commentator to cameo on the program. Democratic political strategists Donna Brazile and Joe Trippi, CBS News correspondent Erica Hill, Lou Dobbs and civil rights activist Vernon Jordan have all appeared as themselves ever since the show premiered in 2009.
Other guest stars this season include Nathan Lane, Maura Tierney, Kristin Chenoweth, Marc Warren and Amanda Peet.
