ComingSoon.net reports that Roadside Attractions and Lionsgate have picked up the US releasing rights to the Peter Webber movie Emperor. The movie recently had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Roadside will release the movie in theaters while all other US distribution rights will be handled by their partner company in Lionsgate.
The movie stars actors Matthew Fox, Tommy Lee Jones, and Eriko Hatsune with a screenplay by David Klass and Vera Blasi. Yoko Narahashi, Gary Foster, Eugene Nomura, and Russ Krasnoff produced the film.
