[Movies] Carrie and The Evil Dead Remakes Among Sony Pictures Presentations for New York Comic-Con

IGN reports that Sony Pictures will be featuring first looks and panels for the horror movie remakes of The Evil Dead and Carrie at this year's New York Comic-Con.

The presentations will be held at 3:45 to 4:45PM on October 13 at the Javits center in Manhattan. The Evil Dead panel will feature the film's star Jane Levy, producer and the original trilogy's star Bruce Campbell, and director Fede Alvarez. The panel for Carrie will have Chloe Moretz, Julianne Moore, producer Kevin Misher, and director Kimberly Pierce attending.

Carrie is set to hit theaters on March 15, 2013. The Evil Dead will be released on April 12. The New York Comic-Con starts on October 11.
