Introducing the Naughties...
Columbia Pictures and Entertainmwent Weekly have released the first official image of the villains for The Smurfs 2, dubbed the "Naughties." The characters are pint-sized henchman created by Gargamel.
Among the Naughties are Vexy voiced by Christina Ricci and Hackus voiced by J.B. Smoove. The Naughties are characters new to Smurfs lore, but their origin story is similar to that of Smurfette. According to Gosnell on EW.com, "Smurfette was a lump of clay that Gargamel put in his cauldron, and he painted her blue as a disguise. Using that as a jumping off point, our Naughties are basically clay gray."
The Smurfs 2 also starring returning cast members Neil Patrick Harris, Jayma Mays, and Hank Azaria will hit theaters on July 31, 2013.
