[Movies] Warner Bros. Issues Correction on Hobbit Blu-Ray Extended Editon

Whoopsie...
As reported previously, a Warner Home Video press kit for the 90th Anniversary of Warner Bros. as a studio listed in its 2013 schedule a "Extended Edition" Blu-Ray of The Hobbit for the fourth quarter of 2013. However, ComingSoon.net now reports that Warner has contacted them noting that the listing was a mistake. The statement reads:
"In the recently distributed calendar included in the Warner Bros. 90th Anniversary press kit, there was an erroneous mention of an Extended Edition release for The Hobbit film. This product has not been confirmed yet and we apologize for any confusion."
Of course, this doesn't mean the Blu-Ray won't come out, just that they haven't made it official yet. The film hits theaters on December 14th.
