Summit Entertainment has brought on Johnny Rosenthal for their feature adaptation of Area 52. THR reports that Rosenthal, who is also writing the script for Bad Santa 2, will draft the screenplay for the comic book adaptation that is based off a Brian Haberlin miniseries.
The comic was about a secret storage facility in Antarctica that houses the alien technology that Area 51 is no longer studying. The lead character is an army nurse who must save the day after a mercenary attack unleashes a fantastic terror.
