[Movies] Screenwriter Says Taken 3 Is In the Works

Talks have begun...
Screenwriter Robert Mark Kamen says that Taken 3 is in the works. Kamen told Hollywood.com that Taken 2's $49.5 million opening weekend has spurred talks for a third film.
"We didn't start talking about [it] until we saw the numbers," Kamen said. "But then we said, 'Oh, okay. I think we should do a third one.' And Fox wants us to do a third one." It is worth noting that Neeson said before the film opened that he was not interested in continuing with the franchise; no word on whether his opinion has also changed due to the opening weekend grosses.
As to the plot, Kamen said, "We've taken everyone we can take. It's going to go in another direction."
