[Movies] Ralph Fiennes Looking To Join The Cast Of The Grand Budapest Hotel
Posted by Joseph Lee on 10.09.2012

Variety reports that Ralph Fiennes (Coriolanus, Great Expectations, Skyfall) is in talks to join the cast of writer and director Wes Anderson's The Grand Budapest Hotel.

Anderson is producing the film, set in Europe, with Moonrise Kingdom collaborators Scott Rudin and Steven Rates of Indian Paintbrush. Fiennes would play M. Gustave, who is the concierge of the hotel. Anderson usually works with the same actors (including Bill Murray, who will appear in the film), but is trying to find actors he's never worked with before like Fiennes and Jude Law.

Fiennes can next be seen in Skyfall, which will be released through Sony on November 9. He also plays Magwitch in Mike Newell's adaptation of Charles Dickens' novel Great Expectations, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. He plays Dickens along with Felicty Jones in The Invisible Woman, which he directed.

Meanwhile, Anderson's Moonrise Kingdom has earned $63 million worldwide.
