[Gossip] South Beach Neighbors Say No to Kourtney and Kim Kardashian

The sisters are having trouble renting a home for filming of Kourtney & Kim Take Miami...
RadarOnline reports that Kourtney and Kim Kardashian have been effectively banned from South Beach. The two are in Miami for Kourtney & Kim Take Miami.
The Bell Isle Blog states that the Kardashian sisters were unable to rent a beach home on the Sunset Islands, DiLidi Island on the North Bay Road. The neighbors there reportedly didn't want the reality-TV stars nearby.
The two needed signatures from immediate neighbors of the prospective homes they wanted to use for the three-month filming period and also the support of 90 percent of homeowners within 500 feet.
Residents reportedly complained that film crews and paparazzi would disrupt the tranquil neighborhoods.
As a result, the Kardashian sisters have been filming about 14 miles away from South Beach in North Miami Beach.
Raul Gonzales of Miami Beach's Office of Film and Print says, "They found a gated community in North Miami Beach." Another source says "The area is known for its hourly hotels, strip clubs and high crime rate. It's a far-cry from their usual posh digs, with just a 7-Eleven and an abandoned old bank close by."
The new TV show season will premiere in January 2013.
