[Movies] Robert Pattinson and Carey Mulligan To Star In Hold On To Me
Posted by Joseph Lee on 10.16.2012

Deadline reports that Robert Pattinson and Carey Mulligan will star in Hold On To Me, which is directed by James Marsh (Man on Wire, Project Nim).

The film is based on a true story of a woman and her boyfriend who kidnap and hold the town's richest man for ransom. They bury him in a box and that's when things go wrong. Pattinson will play the woman's love interest Jimmy, who isn't involved in the crime. The film was written by Brad Ingelsby.

Alexandra Milchan will produce with Indian Paintbrush‘s Steven Rales, Mark Roybal and Michael Pruss. Todd Field will also produce. He originally developed the film to direct but instead decided to direct Creed Of Violence for Cross Creek.

Pattinson's other 2013 films include David Michod's The River (with Guy Pearce) and Mission Blacklist, a true story about the US military interrogator responsible for discovering the location of Saddam Hussein.
