[Movies] Guillermo Del Toro Shoots Down DC Vertigo Team-Up Movie

No Heaven Sent for him...
Guillermo Del Toro has denied that he is making a DC Vertigo team up movie. As previously reported, Latino Review had claimed that Del Toro was attached to the film, which was titled Heaven Sent and would feature non-superhero, supernatural-based characters like Dead Man, Swamp Thing, John Constantine, Phantom Stranger, Zatanna, Zatara, Sargon and Etrigan the Demon. It was described as Del Toro's "own version of The Avengers."
Sound good? Absolutely, but as it turns out...yeah, not so much. Del Toro posted to his own forum saying he'd like to do it but isn't involved. He posted: "Wow- please contact whoever said I denied it. I cannot recall ever answering a question like that. Sadly I dont do [Twitter]. I denied being involved in JLA but [Heaven Sent] I would love to do!!!"
