Playing President Business and Bad Cop...
Deadline reports that Will Ferrell, Liam Neeson, Nick Offerman and Alison Brie have joined Warner Bros and Village Roadshow's Lego.
The 3D animated film will be released on February 7, 2014. It already features Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett and Morgan Freeman.
The story follows Emmet (Pratt), "an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average Lego minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant."
Ferrell will play the villain President Business, Neeson will play his henchman Bad Cop, Offerman will play a pirate obsessed with revenge on President Business and Brie will play a member of Emmet's team with a powerful secret.
Phil Lord & Christopher Miller (21 Jump Street) will direct from their own screenplay, with a story by Dan Hageman & Kevin Hageman and Phil Lord & Christopher Miller. Lin Pictures and Vertigo Entertainment are behind the film with Dan Lin and Roy Lee producing.
