[Movies] Neither Steven Spielberg Nor Quentin Tarantino Are Interested In Star Wars Episode VII
Posted by Joseph Lee on 11.09.2012

Superhero Hype reports that more high-profile directors are saying they're not interested in Star Wars Episode VII. Yesterday we reported that Zack Snyder denied wanting the job, and now both Steven Spielberg and Quentin Tarantino have said the same.

Spielberg, was at the premiere of Lincoln when he told Access Hollywood: "No! No! It's not my genre. It's my best friend George's genre."

Meanwhile, Quentin Tarantino told EW.com: "I could so care less. Especially if Disney's going to do it. I'm not interested in the Simon West version of Star Wars."

It was also reported yesterday that Michael Ardnt (Toy Story 3 wrote a 50-page treatment and will likely write the screenplay. The film is looking at a 2015 release.
