[TV] Two More Join Joss Whedon's S.H.I.E.L.D. Series

Two more agents sign up...
Two more names have joined the cast of Joss Whedon and ABC's S.H.I.E.L.D pilot, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Elizabeth Henstridge and Ian De Castecker will play agents of the titular organization.
Henstridge will play science Agent Gemma Simmons and De Caestecker will play Agent Leo Fitz, a technology genius. The two spend all of their time together, usually bickering, but are masters of their respective fields. They join a cast which already includes Ming-Na (as pilot and weapons expert Agent Melinda May) and Clark Gregg (Agent Phil Coulson). Whedon will write the pilot with his brother Jed and Jed's wife Maurissa Tancharoen The three previously worked on Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. Whedon will also direct the pilot if his schedule allows him to.
Henstridge's previous credits include Hollyoaks and the J.J. Abrams/Mark Schwahn pilot Shelter for the CW. De Caestecker was the lead on BBC's The Fades and Young James Harriot. He will next appear in the film the Fear with Alice Englert.
