[Gossip] Ariel Winter's Mother Says Ariel Attacked Her
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 11.13.2012

Ariel Winter's guardianship drama continues. TMZ reports that the teenage Modern Family actress' mother Chrystal Workman told the guardianship judge she was attacked by Winter after Workman confronted her about her relationship with an eighteen year-old boy, then threatened to "make her pay."

According to court transcripts obtained by TMZ, Workman also told the judge that Winter "is an actress so I'm sure she can cry at the drop of a hat," claiming that her story about being abused was completely made up.

The lawyer for Ariel's older sister Shanelle said that "The child [Winter] is, apparently, struck repeatedly, slapped, hit, pushed, not so as to leave marks. Mother is smart enough not to do that." He added that Workman "sexualizes the child" and showed the judge a photo of the actress "dressed up to show off her breasts and otherwise."

The lawyer also noted that, as reported this morning, people on the set of Modern Family had to "sneak this child food because the mother deprives the child of food."

The judge gave Shanelle custody. The next court date is November 20th.
