The Hollywood Reporter stated that director Michael Bay is now testing young male and female actors for the other lead roles for the upcoming Transformers 4 movie.

Bay is testing for the role of a female high school student (set to be the daughter of Wahlberg's character) and her boyfriend, a racecar driver.

Male actors reported to be reading for the boyfriend role are Luke Grimes, Landon Liboiron, Hunter Parrish, Jack Reynor, and Brenton Thwaites. Actresses reading for the female lead include Isabelle Cornish, Nicola Peltz, Gabriella Wilde, and Margaret Qualley (Andie McDowell's daughter).

The movie will begin production in spring 2013.
