[VIDEO] Modern Family Story Appears To Be Inspired By Ariel Winter's Life

TMZ reports that Ariel Winter had a storyline on Modern Family last night that was similar to her real life.
The episode, which was likely written and taped months ago, sees Julie Bowen's character confront the judges at an academic challenge after her daughter Alex (Winter) got eliminated. She gets embarrassed and tries to stop her mother. She said in the episode: "You're just mad because now you can't parade me around like some show pony!"
It was very similar to the situation currently going on with Winter and her mother Chrystal Workman. Workman had a bad reputation on set and producers blocked her from several areas, including hair and makeup.
