Entertainment Weekly has posted two new photos from Warner Bros' The Conjuring, which is directed by James Wan (Insidious, Saw) and stars Patrick Wilson, Vera Farmiga, Ron Livingston, Lili Taylor, Mackenzie Foy and Joey King.
The film will be released on July 19, 2013 and is based on the true story of demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren, who were some of the first paranormal investigators in the Amityville haunting. It takes place before that event. It's set in the 1970s. In the film, a couple (Livingston and Taylor) hire paranormal investigators (Wilson and Farmiga) when strange things begin happening at their farmhouse.
Wan has previously said he is a believer in the supernatural. Of course, he also said: "I also believe in aliens and Santa Claus."
