[TV] Ratings: NBC Wins With Football, American Music Awards Bomb

Sports wins over music...
NBC won last night thanks to NFL coverage while ABC's coverage of the 40th Anniversary American Music Awards dropped 21% from last year to an all-time low. Meanwhile, FOX's animated line-up, including The Simpsons, Bob's Burgers and Family Guy, all dropped from last week.
NBC won with 13.3 million viewers and an 8.1 rating/12 share in households in primetime. It was followed by CBS (12.6 million, 8.1/12), ABC (9.0 million, 5.2/8) and FOX (4.2 million, 2.4/4).
In the adults 18-49 demographic, NBC won with a 4.9 rating, followed by CBS (3.0), ABC (2.9) and FOX (2.0).
