[Movies] Four New Names in Running for Harry Osborn in Amazing Spider-Man 2
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 11.19.2012

Four new names have entered the race for the role of Harry Osborn in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. THR reports that Douglas Booth (Noah), Sam Claflin (Snow White and the Huntsman), Boyd Holbrook (The Host) and Eddie Redmayne (My Week with Marilyn) are all auditioning for the role. The quartet join Brady Corbet (Martha Marcy May Marlene), Dane DeHaan (Chronicle) and Alden Ehrenreich (Stoker) as actors in the running.

Additionally, the new report shoots down rumors that the role of Harry will be "dark & edgy" and instead is seeking a charismatic and athletic portrayal. The person who wins the role will join Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Shailene Woodley in the sequel, which hits theaters on May 2nd, 2014.
