Two Worlds Colliding will be about the life of the singer...
Rolling Stone reports a biopic based on the life of INXS singer Michael Hutchence is now being developed.
The project is now entitled Two World Colliding and is set to start casting sessions next year with writer Bobby Galinsky. Galinsky has wanted to work on this project for over a decade. He adapted the screenplay from the book Just a Man: The Real Michael Hutchence which was written by Hutchence's mother.
Regarding the film, Galinsky said: "It's from the family's side as Michael being a son, a brother, a friend. It's not a sex, drugs and rock & roll tabloid situation. Who was Michael Hutchence? What drove him? What were his demons? What were his loves?"
Hutchence died in 1997. INXS officially confirmed they were splitting up earlier this month. The band originally formed in 1977 in Perth, Australia. The group eventually sold more than 30 million albums worldwide.
