The original Xavier and Magneto are back...
Bryan Singer has just confirmed that two major stars are returning to the X-Men franchise. Singer, who is directing X-Men: Days of Future Past, tweeted:
Singer also revealed the prevously-assumed news that X-Men: First Class stars James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender and Nicholas Hoult will all be back, meaning that both Xavier and Magneto will be played in their younger and older personas. Assumedly, this would play into the time travel storyline. No word on whether Hugh Jackman will be back as Wolverine; as you will remember, he cameod in First Class and the character is important to the Days of Future Past story in the comics.
X-Men: Days of Future Past hits theaters on July 18, 2014.
