[Movies] Who's in the Running to Play Star-Lord in Guardians of The Galaxy?

Deadline has a report on a list of actors auditioning for the role of Peter Quill/Star-Lord in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy.

On the list in the report includes: Joel Edgerton, Garrett Hedlund, Jack Huston, James Marsden, Lee Pace, Eddie Redmayne, Jim Sturgess, and Sullivan Stapleton. Quill will likely serve as the central protagonist of the film. His character was raised on Earth and learns his father is from outer space and he's drawn into an intergalactic conflict that eventually leads to him becoming the leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Guardians of the Galaxy is set for an August 1, 2014 release.
