[TV] Ratings: CBS Wins Wednesday, X Factor Rises

The holiday specials also did well...
Several shows improved last night including ABC's Modern Family and FOX's The X Factor. Suburgatory was down in viewers but improved in the 18-49 demographic from two weeks ago. Meanwhile, the holisday specials on NBC did better than usual for Wednesday and The CW's Arrow stayed strong.
CBS's lineup also increased, which was enough to win the night with 11.5 million viewers and a 7.4 rating/12 share in households in primetime. It was followed by FOX (8.1 million, 4.7/7), ABC (7.97 million, 4.6/7), NBC (7.96 million, 4.9/8) and The CW (2.9 million, 1.8/3).
In the adults 18-49 demographic, ABC and FOX were tied at 2.8, followed by CBS (2.7), NBC (2.5) and The CW (1.0).

CBS: Survivor: Philippines (10.35 million viewers, 6.4/10 households)
NBC: Special - Christmas in Rockefeller Center (9.1 million)
ABC: Special - A Charlie Brown Christmas (8.85 million, 4.6/7)
FOX: The X Factor (7.7 million, 4.5/7)
The CW: Arrow (3.7 million, 2.2/3)
18-49 leader: A Charlie Brown Christmas (2.9)

CBS: Criminal Minds (12.3 million, 7.9/12)
