Juan Carlos Fresnadillo is out...
The Highlander remake is without a director. Deadline reports that Juan Carlos Fresnadillo has left due to creative differences with Summit Entertainment. This split is said to be amicable and Ryan Reynolds is still attached as the lead.
The film will reboot the franchise, which originally focused on Connor MacLeod, an immortal Scottish swordsman competing in combat to the death against other immortals for the mysterious Prize.
