[Gossip] Jersey Shore Alumni's MTV Lawsuit Turned Down By Gloria Allred
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 12.02.2012

Gloria Allred is known for taking high-profile cases, but she wasn't interested in taking on MTV on behalf of a former Jersey Shore star. TMZ reports that Angelina Pivarnick, who was on the show for the first two seasons, believes that MTV's edits of her time on the show has made her look bad and has made it impossible for her to get more work.

Pivarnick wants to file a defamation lawsuit against the network and reached out to Allred--who has represented the likes of Spice Girl Melanie B, Rachel Uchitel and Lindsay Lohan's accuser in her new assault case--but got turned down. Sources close to the situation say that Allred's office contacted Pivarnick by written correspondence, saying that her case load is too busy at the moment to accommodate her case.
