[Gossip] John Travolta Sued By Alleged Gay Lover
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 12.03.2012

The former pilot of John Travolta's who alleges that he had a secret relationship with the actor has filed a lawsuit over claims that he signed a confidentiality agreement. TMZ reports that Doug Gotterba, who was Travolta's pilot from 1981 through 1987, filed the suit after he says he got a threatening letter from Travolta's attorney Marty Singer. The letter allegedly threatened a lawsuit over the fact that Singer spoke with the National Enquirer and claimed he was Travolta's lover.

Gotterba says he did sign a termination agreement, but says it didn't include anything regarding confidentiality and says he should be allowed to discuss Travolta without fear of being sued.

Singer gave TMZ a comment, saying that the lawsuit is "ridiculous" and claiming that Gotterba not only signed a contract that contains a confidentiality agreement, he included it as a document in his lawsuit. Singer added, "Mr. Gotterba obviously filed this lawsuit to get his 15 minutes of fame. We plan to get this meritless case promptly dismissed."
