Howard Stern is staying with America's Got Talent. NBC has announced via press release that Stern will return this summer as a judge on the talent competition show, with auditions already underway for the coming season. The network is still searching for a replacement for Sharon Osborne, who left the show at the end of last season.
"Howard Stern's towering presence and opinions on last season's show as a new judge made a dramatic impact and added a sharper edge to the fascinating developments on stage," says NBC head of alternative programming Paul Telegdy. "We know that Howard believes in 'America's Got Talent' ... and that dedication comes across in a genuine way to our viewers who share his passion about our amazing talent competition."
