[Movies] Jamie Foxx Reveals More About Electro in Amazing Spider-Man 2

Jamie Foxx has revealed new details about Electro as he will be portrayed in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Foxx, who has been officially confirmed to be playing the role, spoke with ET about the character and dropped some details about the villain.

"[He's a] genius electrician-type person," said Foxx, "and he gets the short end of the stick from the whole world... [T]he next thing you know, he turns it on."

The character's real name in the comic books is Max Dillan; he gained his electrical powers after a freak accident. The film will star Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Shailene Woodley, Foxx and Dane DeHaan and open on May 2nd, 2014.
