[TV] The Walking Dead Dominates the Ratings

The show totals over 15 million for the night...
The Walking Dead destroyed the competition in the ratings last night. AMC announced via press release that the show drew 10.5 million in its premiere timeslot of 9 PM, beating out every show that aired on cable or broadcast network for the night except for the NFL and CBS' 60 Minutes, which itself had the NFL as a lead-in.
The show drew an additional 3.6 million at 10 PM and then 1.1 million at midnight, meaning that the show totalled 15.2 million viewers for the night which beats everything but the NFL games.
The show returns with the second half of the season on February 10th.
