Hero Complex spoke with actor Michael Caine who talked about rumors about any potential ambiguity about the movie's ending.
When asked about the final scene when Alfred sees Bruce Wayne with Selina Kyle at a table in a cafe, here is what Caine said: "They were there. They were real. There was no imagination. They were real and he was with Anne, the cat lady, and I was happy ever after for him as I told him during the picture."
Caine said he would return to play Alfred again in a Justice League movie if he were invited. Caine said, "I said to Chris, ‘If they do it again and they ask me to be the Butler, I'm going to do it,' He said, ‘I want 10%.'"
