[TV] Goonies Stars Reuniting On Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 12.06.2012

Goonies stars Sean Astin and Corey Feldman are set to work together on several upcoming episodes of Nickelodeon's second season of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Feldman revealed the news to TV Guide, noting that it is the first time that the two have worked together since the 1985 classic.

Astin currently voices Raphael on the show; Feldman's role is not yet known. Feldman noted, "The coolest part is it's two Goonies working together again after all these years. Which is crazy, because we're all such good friends."

Feldman actually auditioned for the role of Raphael also, but his voice was said to be "too raspy" for the job. He voiced Donatello in the first and third live-action Ninja Turtles movies.

Astin noted in the interview that he is "1000% certain" there will be a Goonies sequel, saying, "I will bet my children on it."

Feldman responded, "Oh my God. I am betting no child on this matter."
