[Movies] Relativity Finds Director For Sci-Fi Thriller Tipping Point
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 12.07.2012

Relativity Media has announced that Ric Roman Waugh will rewrite and direct their sci-fi thriller Tipping Point. The studio revealed via press release that Waugh (Felon, Snitch) will rework the script by Todd Stein, which is set 100 years in the future where the world population is maxed out at 10 billion. Having children requires a license and the penalty for violating that is death without exception. A ruthless Population Control Officer discovers two fugitives that he's been pursuing are the love of his life who mysteriously disappeared years ago and the 12-year-old son he never knew he had.

The film will be produced by Marty Bowen, Wyck Godfrey, Andrew Deane and Relativity CEO Ryan Kavanaugh.
