[Movies] Potential Justice League Plot Revealed? (SPOILERS)
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 12.13.2012

If the rumors of Darkseid appearing as the villain for Justice League are to be taken as fact then it appears that the plot of the film has been revealed as well. Latino Review, who reported the initial Darkseid rumor, says that Will Beal's script for the film will be based on issues 183 through 185 of Justice League of America.

The issues were released in 1980 and were written by Gerry Conway, with illustrations by George Perez. The comic has Darkseid planning to destroy the Earth so that he can put Apokolips, his home planet, in Earth's place. The story includes both the JLA and Earth-2's Justice Society of America, with the two teams in the process of meeting when Darkseid started his big plan.

Warner Bros. has not confirmed the plot or even Darkseid as the villain at this point. The film will release in summer of 2015.
