Competing with Lincoln and Men in Black 3...
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has officially announced that the following films are still in the running for Best Makeup and Hairstyling for the 85th Academy Awards:
* Hitchcock
* The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey
* Les Misérables
* Lincoln
* Looper
* Men in Black 3
* Snow White and the Huntsman
The field will be narrowed to three nominees after all members of the Academy's Makeup Artists and Hairstylists Branch get the opportunity to view ten-minute excerpts from each of the shortlisted films. The nominees will be announced on January 10 along with the other categories.
