[Movies] Fox Developing Female-Led Fount Footage Movie
Posted by Joseph Lee on 12.19.2012

The directing team Radio Silence is set to direct an untitled found footage film for Fox, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The script was written by Lindsay Devlin.

John Davis will produce through his Fox-based Davis Entertainment. The story is being kept secret, but it's female-driven and contains horror elements. Davis used his discretionary fund to acquire the film as a pitch in the spring. Then Devlin wrote the script and Radio Silence (Tyler Gillett, Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Chad Villella and Justin Martinez) were brought on to direct.

The four wrote and directed the final segment of the horror anthology film V/H/S. They also gained a following for their interactive shorts with sci-fi, horror and comedy elements. They were previously known as Chad, Matt and Rob. Their short The Alien Roommate Prank Goes Bad has over 30 million views on Youtube.

They are also attached to direct Reawakenings, a low-budget horror film for producer Jason Blum at Lionsgate.
