She makes a good point...
Sarah Silverman has gone on record to defend Quentin Tarantino in regard to the controversy over what some view as Django Unchained's excessive use of the n-word. As previously reported, Spike Lee called out Tarantino and criticized the film for using the word in question about 110 times. Lee said he refused to watch the film, saying it mocked slavery and was disrespectful to African Americans.
TMZ caught up with Silverman and asked her opinion of it for whatever reason. Silverman defended Tarantino, saying, "Doesn't [Django] take place like during slavery? Wouldn't it be odd if they didn't have that horrific word in it?"
She added that she is a Spike Lee fan but noted, "[Spike's] got a lot of mishegas with a lot of art. I think you can't really tell art what to do."
