Horror writer Clive Barker has had a lawsuit filed against him by a former boyfriend thrown out of court. TMZ reports that Barker was being sued by Emilian David Armstrong, an ex-boyfriend who accused Barker of having sex with his HIV-positive cousin and then passing the disease onto him in 1996. Armstrong said that Barker then threw him out on the street and left him destitute.
The judge ruled that the case was baseless and gave Armstrong the chance to come up with some sort of evidence to support his claims, but Armstrong never followed up and now the dismissal of the suit is permanent.
