And a new Parenthood falls...
On a night with mostly reruns, NCIS won the night for CBS. The only new shows were Parenthood (which was down from the last original episode, but still high for the season) and Emily Owens, MD (which did well). The highest rated show of the night, ESPN's coverage of the Orange Bowl, wasn't on broadcast TV.
CBS won with 8.6 million and a 5.5 rating/9 share in households in primetime. It was followed by NBC (5.5 million, 3.2/5), ABC (3 million, 1.9/3), FOX (1.6 million, 1.0/2) and The CW (1.2 million, 0.8/1).
In the adults 18-49 demographic, NBC won with a 1.6, followed by CBS (1.2), ABC (0.9), FOX (0.7) and The CW (0.3).
