[Movies] Michael Rosenbaum Up For Lead Role In Guardians of the Galaxy

Michael Rosenbaum revealed on Twitter that he is up for the lead role in Guardians of the Galaxy. He previously voiced The Flash in Justice League, Teen Titans and Static Shock. He also voiced Deadman in Batman: The Brave and the Bold and played Lex Luthor in over 150 episodes of Smallville.
He wrote: "Read for my pal @JamesGunn GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY for PETER QUILL. What a treat! Thanks Jimmy."
He joins a short list that includes Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Jim Sturgess (Cloud Atlas) and Zachary Levi (Chuck).
Peter Quill is a character that eventually becomes Star-Lord, leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy, after he learns that his father was from outer space. The team's roster also includes Drax the Destroyer, Groot, Rocket Racoon and Gamora. The film will be released on August 1, 2014.
