[VIDEO] First Clip Released From Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 2
Posted by Joseph Lee on 01.03.2013

The first clip has been released for Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 2, and it features Batman taking on an entire squad of police. The film will be released on DVD, Blu-ray, and VOD on January 29, 2013.

Here's a synopsis: With Gotham City back under his watchful eye, and accompanied by able sidekick Robin, Batman continues to battle crime – but his resurgence awakens a far worse evil at Arkham Asylum: The Joker. In the meantime, Superman has been dispatched by the President to halt Batman's unsanctioned reign by whatever means necessary. Between the Joker's diabolical scheme to drag Batman to the darkest levels of insanity, and the Man of Steel's seemingly invincible physical presence, the Dark Knight must confront adversaries and allies simultaneously while maintaining the peace in Gotham City.

The film features new stars Michael Emerson (Person of Interest, Lost as The Joker, Mark Valley (Human Target, Fringe) as Superman and Conan O'Brien as David Endochrine. They joine a cast that includes Peter Weller as Batman, David Selby as Commissioner Gordon, Ariel Winter as Carrie/Robin, Michael McKean as Dr. Bartholomew Wolper, Maria Canals-Barrrera as new Commissioner Yindel, Paget Brewster as Lana Lang, and Michael Jackson (not that one) as Alfred.
