USA Today reports that Megan Fox has joined Twitter after a death hoax hit the website. She was previously active on Facebook but hadn't been on Twitter until now.
All day Thursday, "RIP Megan Fox" was trending. Fox didn't mention the report when she signed up.
She describes herself as a "Lover. Healer. Mother." She gave birth to her son Noah in September.
She wrote as her first tweet: "I'm incredibly late to the party, but I'm here nonetheless, so what now?"
She now has over 40,000 followers and is following 0 people.
