[Movies] 85th Academy Awards To Feature Tribute To James Bond

After fifty years...
Superhero Hype reports that the 85th Academy Awards will have a tribute to the fiftieth anniversary of the James Bond franchise.
Producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron said: "We are very happy to include a special sequence on our show saluting the Bond films on their 50th birthday. Starting with 'Dr. No' back in 1962, the 007 movies have become the longest-running motion picture franchise in history and a beloved global phenomenon."
Skyfall the 23rd film in the series, earned $1.004 billion so far.
The nominations for the awards ceremony will be announced on January 10, 2013 at 5:30 AM PT at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater. The ceremony takes place on February 24, 2013 at the Dolby Theater at the Hollywood & Highland Center and shown live on ABC. It will be shown in over 225 countries worldwide.
