Comingsoon.net spoke with director Michael Apted whose directing career includes working on James Bond and Chronicles of Narnia films.
Currently, Apted is revisiting his Up Series, a series of documentaries that started on Granada Television in 1964. Apted began interviewing a group of sever year olds about their lives and futures. Every seven years, Apted revisited the individuals and now comes to the 8th installment of the series with 56 Up
56 Up opens in New York City on Friday, January 4 at the IFC Center and in Los Angeles at the Landmark Nuart Theater on January 18. It also plays in Hartford and San Diego on January 25 and other cities in February.
