Pelosi makes her scripted television debut...
The Washington Post reports that House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi will make a guest star spot on the series finale of 30 Rock on NBC.
Pelosi will be seen on the show's final episode on Thursday, January 21. It will be a one-hour special at 8PM that will air ahead of NBC's new drama Do No Harm. Reportedly, Pelosi will be playing herself in the swan-song episode. NBC has only confirmed she will appear in the episode, but they are tight-lipped about any further information on the episode.
This will be Pelosi's first try at scripted TV. She's previously appeared on daytime talk shows with hosts such as Ellen DeGeneres and Rachael Ray and also on late night shows with Jimmy Fallon, Jay Leno, David Letterman, Jon Stewart, Charlie Rose, and Stephen Colbert. She also appeared on Top Chef in August 2010.
Pelosie stated it was time to branch out because, "I would do almost anything Tina Fey asks me to do. I'm flattered that they asked me to make a cameo in the series finale. I had a lot of fun."
The episode with Pelosi was shot early in December. The show had its wrap party on December 20.
